Windows
The first Windows x64 installer may be unsigned. If Windows SmartScreen appears, confirm the file came from the official Pole website, review the SHA-256 checksum if needed, then use the per-file More info / Run anyway flow only if you trust that download.
macOS
Initial macOS direct downloads may be unsigned and not yet Apple-notarized. Download Pole, open the DMG and app, and if macOS blocks it, open System Settings, choose Privacy & Security, select Open Anyway for Pole, then confirm.
Most Macs from late 2020 onward use Apple Silicon. Intel downloads remain available for older Macs.
Updates, uninstall, and reinstall
Ordinary hosted Pole web updates do not require a desktop release. Desktop shell updates are for native shell, installer, runtime, or security changes. Until native self-update is activated with signed updater artifacts, update by downloading the newer installer from this page.
Uninstall through Windows installed apps or by moving the macOS Pole app to Trash. Reinstalling uses your same Pole login and server data; there is no device license or activation key.
