Scope of this guidance
This is a product-operating checklist for Pole. It is not commentary on Nigerian land law, regulatory advice, or an assessment of legal or organizational compliance.
Step 2 of 4
Map state and exception handling
Each workflow needs current states, allowed transitions, and recovery for stale, rejected, conflicted, partial, unavailable, or read-only results. Without those distinctions, informal side work can become a second source of truth.
- Document the current state, allowed next action, and invariant for each selected workflow.
- Identify who owns correction, reconciliation, retry, and escalation for each exception state.
- Label a planned control as planned until it has been tested and adopted.
Step 3 of 4
Review evidence boundaries
A test, audit event, user interface, policy document, and production observation prove different things. The review should record what each source establishes and what remains unverified.
- Link each material capability claim to a named owner and current test evidence.
- Verify audit durability, tenant scope, and effect handling at the command that owns the action.
- Keep hosting, third-party delivery, customer outcomes, and legal status unverified until their authorized owners provide evidence.
Step 4 of 4
Assign bounded improvements
A governance review is useful when it produces finite work with an owner and completion condition. Avoid combining a copy correction, workflow redesign, data migration, and legal decision into one indistinct action.
- Classify each finding as observed fact, evidence-backed inference, target decision, or owner decision.
- Assign one owner, affected workflow, acceptance check, and review date to each unresolved item.
- Close the item only after the governing record and regression evidence agree.
Final checks
Confirm these points before treating the workflow review as complete.
- Each action has a named authority and server-enforced scope.
- Normal and exception states have explicit owners and recovery paths.
- Claims do not exceed the evidence available for the product or operation.
- Legal, regulatory, and production decisions remain with their authorized owners.
